Welcome to the Pender Humane Society’s fundraising campaign. We are a NO- KILL shelter located in Burgaw, North Carolina, dedicated to improving the lives of homeless and unwanted animals by providing shelter and medical care while finding loving and responsible permanent homes. We work to prevent cruelty and overpopulation among dogs and cats and to help assist and educate the public about responsible pet care. We rescue animals from Pender and surrounding counties.  We are not funded by any Federal, State, or Local entities, and rely primarily on donations to operate the Shelter. The past 18 months have been very difficult for fundraising due to COVID-19 restrictions on in-person events, and the Shelter NEEDS donations to continue operation.  We are offering you the opportunity to donate a lump sum payment, or to donate on a monthly basis, all through our DONATE button, or start your own Fundraising effort!

YOU CAN HELP US FINISH 2021 ON A POSITIVE NOTE FOR SHELTER ANIMALS IN NEED OF A SAFE, HEALTHY, AND LOVING ENVIRONMENT.

So HOW do you help us TODAY in our mission?  Two easy ways: YOU CAN DONATE DIRECTLY (LUMP SUM OR MONTHLY PAYMENTS) and/or YOU CAN CREATE YOUR OWN FUNDING CAMPAIGN with you family and friends to help us. ​Your donations are TAX DEDUCTABLE, as Pender County Humane Society is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.  You can make a lump sum donation now, to take advantage of year-end tax planning.  We will keep this campaign open until April 15, 2022 to maximize the tax advantage to donors!
