Calling all animal lovers looking for part-time employment! The Pender County Humane Society (PCHS), a 501(c)3 no-kill animal shelter, is in need of workers to continue to provide a safe, clean, healthy environment for our furry friends until they can find their forever homes. The shelter needs part-time workers who can help feed the animals, walk the dogs, and clean the dog kennels and litter boxes. They also need help with basic chores such as loading and unloading supplies from their van, sweeping and mopping floors, etc. Most importantly, they need people who have a soft spot for dogs and cats, and who are willing to jump in and help with their many needs.
